The author presents in his third book the companion who remained in the shadows and anonymity with him for half a century. Its discovery only five years ago allowed him to understand that, far from being exclusive, it was also exclusive to many other people, those who, out of shame or modesty, did not recognize it as such. The hidden epidemic or OCD works by creating an incessant repetition of absolutely ineffective thoughts and attitudes, incapable of being stopped by those who suffer it, even though they are aware of it. These obsessions, if not treated properly, can create very counterproductive effects. Fortunately, the enormous scientific advances made in recent decades allow, for the first time in history, to achieve remarkable progress in its cure. Through the experience lived and crudely presented by the author, the book aims to bring a light of hope for those who have not yet managed to find a way out.
