This essay presents an original reflection on our individual and group competences, classifying them in turn into guidelines and motor skills. They are key to our correct positioning and evolution in the globalized and highly competitive world of the 21st century. The author has effectively exercised them in the design, start-up and growth of a global services unit winner of the National and Ibero-American Quality Awards.
